- How can I pay for my fees?
The ByWard Family Health Team issues electronic invoices by e-mail for outstanding medical fees. If you receive an electronic invoice by e-mail, you may process your payment online at https://payment.bywardfht.ca/ or in person at one of our clinic locations. Accepted methods of online payment are Visa and Mastercard. In person, Visa, Mastercard, Debit, and exact Cash.
Your electronic invoice will indicate the date of the original invoice as well as a description of the medical fee for which it was issued.

A prescription renewal without a visit with your primary care provider is an administrative (uninsured) service not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan.
Prescription renewal requests received by phone, fax or (e)mail will incur a $25 charge per request. If you do not wish to pay this fee, please book an appointment with your Primary Care Provider (PCP) prior to finishing your current course of medication. Patients who have been granted BWFHT Financial Exemption, are exempt from paying this fee. Consult the Prescription Renewals or Referrals section for more information.
- Why am I being charged for a referral for Physiotherapy/Massage?
