Attention all patients! Get ready for an amazing update from ByWard FHT – the launch of the TELUS CHR Connect App on August 9th, 2024.
Prior to August 9th, you will receive a communication guiding you through the registration process. Starting August 10th, all virtual visits will be conducted through the CHR Connect app (desktop or mobile version). To ensure seamless virtual visits, we recommend registering and downloading the app to your mobile device at your earliest convenience. Let’s embrace this new way of connecting for a better healthcare experience!
With the CHR Connect App, patients can:
- Manage appointments. (Booking option coming soon! To book an appointment go to https://opih.inputhealth.com/ebooking#new )
- Check in for in-person appointments (No more waiting in line!)
- View and update their demographics.
- Complete pre-visit questionnaires (Qnaires).
- Manage dependants’ healthcare.
- View billed invoices.
- Send and receive messages through the patient portal.
- Conduct secure virtual visits with healthcare providers.
- Complete required tasks during virtual visits.
- Participate in group virtual visits
Important: To protect patient privacy and confidentiality, each patient (excluding dependents) must have a unique email address to register with the CHR Connect App. To update your email, log into the patient portal at https://opih.inputhealth.com/portal#login .
